Design a cover for a CC thesis

Mathias Klang from the fantastically cool freculture country of Sweden (see my favorite, atmo.se, and very interesting (though you know my ambivalence about this word), Piracy Party) is publishing his PhD dissertation on Disruptive Technologies. He needs a cover design. So he's running a competition. If you're talented (or maybe even not!) and would like to help a PhD (which will be published under a Creative Commons Attribution-Noncommercial license), check out the competition here.

How Sun's "open DRM" dooms them and all they touch

Sun's project doesn't subvert DRM, it subverts open source. It complies -- barely -- with the letter of older OSS definitions, while gutting their spirit. It's a car with the hood welded shut, with an "open" engine underneath the welding-seam.

This is a betrayal of the OSS community by Sun, which should know better. There is no market for Open Dream. No music listener woke up this morning wishing for a way to do less with her music.

careful, lessig. your agenda is showing.

I've found ur blog very interesting... nice work..
