The spreading meme of IP extremism

Mother Jones has an interesting fun facts about IP list. If there were a brand manager for IP, this would be more evidence of her failures.

To the list of IP absolutists-cum-hypocrites, Mother Jones could add Alexander Hamilton, who advocated a strong IP regime but owned a pirated edition of Encyclopaedia Britannica, the first printed in America, by Thomas Dobson.
Washington and Jefferson also owned it.

If there were a brand manager for IP this would be more evidence of HIS failures - a woman would never screw things up this much

A good many of the copyright extremists up here in The Canada are women, so there goes that stereotype.
