Fair Use in China
That'll teach us for teaching the Chinese about the importance of copyright law. Google has been threatened for using news summaries in its Hong Kong Google News service.

I noticed allot of bloggers in the US do the same thing. Should we be worried about this as well?

That's not fair. These companies are largely British inventions or were created using British companies as models a fair while back. RTHK in particular is essentially a spinoff of BBC.
There are big big differences between Hong Kong and China, and they still have separate legal systems, HK's based on British law. (Mainland) China is a different world. HK has quite effective copyright laws. (Though bootleg software on CDR and DVDs are rampant, as I understand they are in New York.)
Actually, HK has cleaned up quite a bit of bootleg software. From the heyday of the 90s where every street corner has someone selling VCDs/DVDs and such, to the situation now whereby you do have to do some hunting.
Not saying that it has completely dissappeared but well it's no longer as rampant as before. However, that being said, you can buy magazines that is centered around P2P in HK. Bittorrent, Edonkey and what etc.
