thank you

To those who wander here,
thank you for last year.
It was, for me,
the best of times,
and the worst of times.
But in both,
I have been extraordinarily grateful for the community here.

Over 5,000 comments offered, most generous, even if some not.
Armand even created Lessig Blog buttons (which of course, I could never wear, but they're fun to look at!).

Anyway, thank you.
I wish there were a better way to show gratefulness,
but until we've got some real whuffie to pass around,
thanks is the best I have.

You are quiet welcome, Sir. It was my pleasure.
Peace, health and prosperity to you and yours.

This is one of the bright spots on the net where I can find, more often than not, someone with whom I share opinions.

My thanks to you for providing this "meeting place".

Happy New Year, Professor.

Thank you for sparking my curiosity about the law and for dispelling my belief that all lawyers are, by default, evil. ;p

While it's debatable whether or not this is attributable to Ralph Waldo Emerson, it has been my New Year's Resolution for the last few years:

To laugh often and much;
To win the respect of intelligent people and the affection of children;
To earn the appreciation of honest critics and endure the betrayal of false friends;
To appreciate beauty, to find the best in others;
To leave the world a bit better, whether by a healthy child, a garden patch or a redeemed social condition;
To know even one life has breathed easier because you have lived.
This is to have succeeded.

Based upon these criteria, Prof. Lessig, I'd opine that you're successful on a number of levels.

My best wishes for happiness and prosperity to you and yours.

Thank you, professor - for hosting this blog. It's nice to have somewhere to go to discuss free culture issues. This space will become even more important as the reform efforts you push gain traction.

I resolve in 2004 to have my comments be more concise than last year's. :-)

Happy new year as well! Keep up the good fight for justice!

Happy New Year.

First time here....I remember you from your work at Harvard, lost track. Good blog, good things you do here.

Any comments about the Oxford Internet Institute? I had a ticket to go to their launch, but my mom developed ugly cancer, had to punt. I understand you did a stint there. Is anything happening there?

Shalom.

Julia
