what is T + 7?
Best of luck. I hope you're caught up on sleep.
what is T + 7?
I think he was referring to this.
Good luck Mr. Lessig.
May your progeny be smart, healthy, well-adjusted, and blessed with a strong public domain so that they don't get their asses sued--or jailed--for brilliance.
Good luck and good health to all.

goodluck and best wishes
Best of luck to all three of you!
I know from fairly recent experience, your life is about to get more amazing than you can possibly imagine yet.
Congratulations, Professor Lessig, and my best wishes to the wife and family.
I popped over here this afternoon to see if you'd seen this article on Democracy Now yet-
"September 3, 2003—The 20 year-old Webmaster of a California-based site called raisethefist.com is to begin a yearlong prison term today. And when he gets out of prison next year, he will be banned from associating with anyone who wants to “change the government in any way.”"
If my html efforts fail, my apologies. I thought the article might interest everyone here.

Ok nevermind the html!
Good luck, Professor! Got a name picked out yet? Too bad that "Tarzan" is out of the question, eh? Maybe those baby name books need to have an appendix for trademarks.
Too bad you don't have a guest blogger lined up. Is Arnold available? :-)
Good luck, Prof. Lessig.
Best of luck to you, your wife, and especially your child. S/he is the one who is going to have the really rough go of it. Try to get some sleep, you will need it.
By the way, I think T + 7 means the baby is a a week "overdue," which is silly because the baby will come out when it is the proper time, not the proper "schedule." 40 weeks is just an average. Oh the folly of man...
Hi Larry:
Good luck - my wife went to t+8 when our daughter Natalie was born in 2001. Ultimately, she had a C-section - turned out beautifully.
I enjoyed reading the Sept. 1 NY Times article on digital vandalism which quoted you briefly at the end. On the issue of greater internet security, there is an interesting article in the Sept 6. Economist on the upcoming commerical release of quantum crytography systems which are in theory 100% hack proof. This leads to the question whether such complete protection would create increased demand for a legitimized electronic picketing system - an electronic sidewalk or cydewalk. Perhaps you could blog this on your return which is not too soon I hope for the sake of your family. I took a 4 month parental leave when our baby was born and it was a wonderful experience.
Best wishes
Peter S. Jenkins
Hi,
I am a regular reader, but this is my first post. Good Luck!
Prof. Lessig, I dream of the day that your children will be judged not by the size of their stack, but by the character of their content.
A baby’s eyes, ere speech begin,
Ere lips learn words or sighs,
Bless all things bright enough to win
A baby’s eyes.
Algernon Charles Swinburne (1837–1909)
Our daughter, our first child, was born at T (a new terminology for me) +8 (first babies are typically a week overdue, I'm told, so don't sweat it--[lie]I certainly didn't[/lie]) last June 11, Quincy Annabelle Adams, just short of my forty-fifth birthday.
The week of my life that began with her birth was the best week of my life.
You and your wife have the most remarkable experience coming toward you--savor it, and each other.
All the best,
John A
A new generation of expressive freedom. Teach your child well, Mr. Lessig!
>Too bad that “Tarzan” is out of the question
LOL :-)
by the way, Good Luck, Prof. Lessig!
Best of luck! You always hear of people changing the most in their personal philosophies after having a child. Do you think this will change you?
Just make sure you tell your child that there are two types of people in this world. They will try to prove you wrong, and in the process achieve many great things :]
Congratulations
Professor Lessig
Best of luck to your child, your wife, and you.
Many congratulations, and best of luck!!
