THANK YOU. You are a clear thinker. I plan to spread the word.

Thank you for your Ted comments. I agree with you for the most part but would like to suggest that perhaps the addition of money for performance may be the solution to detangling the corruption in Washington. Much like the corporate world, I believe our representatives are woefully underpaid (at least above the table). I believe that if the public can vote for and agree on some issues (unemployement below 5%, growth of the GDP, balanced budget except in an agreed upon emergency) then our represntatives can be measured an compensated for performance. So to keep it simply, Senators and congressman get a Million bucks for unemployment below 5%, and another Million for GDP growth. Think tanks can go a long way to refine this concept but if you know you are going to get a big bonus to make a tough decision that helps the masses (over special interests) than you are more likely to make it. You are also less likely to rely on theory than reality when it is your money on the line with the decision. I have given the same idea to Newt Gingrich. I welcome a future discourse! Don

What Lawrence is saying is not correct for the reason that in the $$$election, the funders do NOT select all the candidates for the general election. They only select the republicrat candidates. In the general election, the voters have the opportunity to vote for either pre-selected republicrat candidates or (generally) other candidates. The American people repeatedly vote almost exclusively for the pre-selected republicrat candidates. So if the republicrat politicians are corrupt and not acting in the people’s best interests, and the American people continue to vote for them even though there are alternative candidates, then the American people have nobody to blame but themselves.

The media is in this too because they are in bed with the republicrats who give them advertising dollars. Lawrence’s proposal is to reduce the media’s corrupt effect by limiting ad budgets. I believe that this is wrong because even corrupt republicrats have the right to say what they want as often as they please. It is up to the American people to evaluate all the candidates’ policies, not just the republicrat’s policies, and determine the best path and vote accordingly. Whether the American people do this or not, they will get what they deserve.

Your TED was something that I have known for a long time. Our government has become the terror of the world, for all intents and purposes. I want to DO something to make it right, and I do, hours a day on facebook, posting as many truths as I can, because I believe most of the country is asleep in the backseat of a madman’s car. And I NEED to wake them up. But how…

      • http://Eupsychia.ORG Sam Cannon

Problem relates to Colin Wilson’s theory of insignificance, Maslow’s Jonah Complex, etc., etc. “Waking them up” really means providing a better alternative, right?

From Abe Maslow: “The good society is one in which virtue pays.”

Problem-centering should be on healthy-unhealthy and stay away from good-bad.
Only way out of the values versus empirical results dilemma. We have decent definitions of good mental health in individuals, but nothing in terms of socio-actualization and social mental health.

The Mulberry Clutch Bags screen printing has risen fast due to its low cost to consumers. T-shirt screen printing techniques continue to advance, and thus is more economical compared to other methods such as iron on tee shirt printing, airbrush, or even fabric markers. The composition of the actual screens also provides the benefit of maintaining quality when it comes to printing a large quantity of apparel. As a result, every individual shirt out of a large quantity is more likely to look the same, as opposed to other manual methods of printing where it’s largely done by eye. T-shirt screen printing also allows for the use of more vibrant colors which can be more easily customized. Also,Mulberry Belts t-shirt screen printing lasts much longer than other methods of creating t-shirts,Mulberry Briefcases especially when high quality materials are used; thus, t-shirt screen printing clearly outlasts the competition.2013gr516 T-shirt screen printing is certainly the new low cost way to wear custom apparel, and it continues to become more popular throughout the consumer market. T-shirt screen printing uses a variety of complex techniques, and an experienced company should be used to create quality t-shirt screen printing.http://pollypushlockbags.webs.com/ Kevin Uzelac, owner of TheShirtPrinter, is an expert on shirt screen printing. As with so many who have The Solution…you don’t face up to and discuss (resolve)
two big wrinkles in your solution: Who can and does run for office, with what commitment to a democratic republic? (I can’t afford to run–CAN YOU? Shall we nominate only people of independent wealth? FDR was one.) and how to keep Big Media from corrupting the democratic republic (as it has been for two centuries). Each day media barons decide what will be the “news” of the day, and what will be the issues of the month. The Occupy movement briefly intruded into that cozy monopoly of power. Kinda like the colors of new cars each year…

Your form seems to require duplication. See comment already posted.

a buddy turned me onto your stuff…thoughts of reform..etc…I’m here to drop a seed for you…while I agree with your assertions about the “republic” and its need for reform…i think your root cause is in error… if you challenge the current definition of a “legal person” and in fact restore it from its ursurped meaning…the rest follows…
