Tarnation Tarnation was the true find at Sundance this year. Not only was it the most beautiful eye candy screened … it filled the space left blank by Capturing the Friedmans … proving that cheap digital equipment is better than Prozac in saving a person life who was living on the edge and still loving his crazy family. … I truly believe the filmmaker would be dead if not for his discovery of the importance of self-observation in a digital journal and the sanity and hope it begot.
